Parent Reviews

The parents who send their children to Camp Kahuna understand the importance of outdoor play and the need to get kids away from electronics. Camp helps children become resilient and confident adults who are able to deal with the life's challenges.

Thank you Camp Kahuna parents for being supportive, encouraging and valuing the importance of summer camp.

Amazing camp run by some amazing people! I cannot say enough about the kindness of Scott and his wonderful staff. If you are looking for a great camp for your kids, look no further! The best Halton has to offer!

There are no words to describe my kids' experience at Kahuna. It’s the most incredible camp experience on the planet and the highlight of their entire year. There is something so magical about the environment that Scott and Connor create for the kids. It’s wholesome, old-school FUN that allows kids to BE KIDS without modern-day pressures. Scott’s daily lessons and stories resonate deeply with the kids and stick with them all year, giving them resilience and wisdom that seeps into everything they do. Giving our kids the experience of Kahuna has been our biggest parenting win. We can’t thank Scott and Connor and all the fantastic staff enough for their energy, dedication and genuine appreciation of giving kids the unforgettable childhood summers they deserve, now more than ever

My heart is filled with so much joy and love for your camp and the program.  Raniya has benefited greatly from the camp and the teachers, facilitators and front guest staff.

Everyone surpassed our expectations. They had WOWED Raniya where she literally got up right away and didn’t  want to be late. I can’t tell you at a time like this how much this camp meant to us. Being on disability has hindered me many times in providing my daughter with camps/activities that with help her with her challenges! Everyday she ran out with excitement to tell me what she did. She sang  songs in the shower and played with her bird feeder till the last minute of the day. Thank you so much Scott for opening your camp to us, for helping me and for your big heart to walk me through the process. We hope that Raniya will be able to come back again;)

To this day, Camp Kahuna is one of my favourite memories from when I was a kid. Scott and this camp have shaped who I am as a person and there is not a single day that goes by that I am not thankful for the friends, memories, and multiple lessons camp has taught me. My almost 11 years of going to Kids4Kids, both as a camper and a counsellor, were incredible and gave me countless opportunities and skills. Camp Kahuna is an incredible camp run by an incredible staff and I would do it a thousand times over if given the chance.
